Mummy Whats Wrong With That Mans Legs (working title)

Research first began for "Mummy Whats Wrong with That Mans Legs" thanks to a grant from the ParaOrchestra in 2024. The Head Over Wheels teams were inspired to make a children's show to tap into young peoples curiosity around disability. Having overheard many comments from children passing us on the street and being hushed by their embarrassed parents- this show will lean into the uncomfortable- to create something celebratory and joyful.

Using our circus skills and set design- the show will demonstrate how ridiculous it is that we expect disabled people to navigate a world that is not set up for them- showcasing that the change needs to happen to our environments and perspectives, not the disabled people.

Funded by Unlimited and Oxford University the show will be created and premiered by June 2026.
