Workshops for Communities

Our workshops bring movement and circus to everyone - disabled, neurodivergent, and non-disabled alike. Each session is playful, inclusive, and designed to build confidence, creativity, and connection through accessible physical expression.

Builds confidence and creative expression across all ability levels

Offers fun, accessible movement and circus skills everyone can enjoy

Leaves participants with lasting tools, games, and techniques to use beyond the workshop

Community workshops

“Head Over Wheels facilitated the residency with exceptional care, creating an inclusive and responsive environment where every participant felt seen. They supported participants in developing individual statements about their self-perception and how they are perceived by others. They wove these insights into beautiful, collaborative movement sequences that amplified everyone’s voice.”

Mentoring

Our mentoring experience with Head over Wheels gave us so many tools to work with during our R&D. It enabled us to work in a relaxed way - but with clear focal points - with new artists, and ensured we all felt like the right people to work on that particular project. We took what we discovered to the Durham Fringe Festival, and will perform the show again in November."

Accessibility Training

"This full day access training brought our company and teachers much needed lived experience, knowledge and tips to enable us to provide better, safer and more inclusive classes for our customers. We often get referrals now because someone else has said we're the place to go for inclusive classes. We also worked with organisations providing aerial workshops for children with SEN needs."

Mentoring for Artists and Organisations

We support artists and organisations to build inclusion into their creative process from the very start. Our mentoring offers practical, imaginative ways to make work more accessible - from inclusive devising and choreography to integrating access for audiences and performers alike.
